Pick a page

Each card downloads a single-page PDF. The level is a guide: younger children do best with big closed shapes; older kids enjoy small repeated areas like kernels and petals.

Patch pumpkin

Ages 3–5 · Big, bold sections for little hands and chunky crayons.

Harvest apple

Ages 3–5 · One large shape plus a leaf — a first coloring page.

Acorn

Ages 3–5 · Cap and nut split into easy zones.

Forest mushroom

Ages 3–5 · Spotted cap, simple stem, grass line.

Fan-tail turkey

Ages 6–8 · Two rows of feathers to color in a pattern.

Maple leaf

Ages 6–8 · Pointed edges and veins — try red-to-yellow blending.

Autumn owl

Ages 6–8 · Feather scallops and big eyes.

Corn cob

Ages 6–8 · 36 kernels for careful, small-area coloring.

Buckle hat

Ages 6–8 · Classic tall hat with a buckle band.

Sunflower

Ages 9+ · 32 petals and a seed center — a calm, detailed page.

Lattice pie

Ages 9+ · Woven lattice and crimped crust.

Wheat bundle

Ages 9+ · Three stalks with paired grains.

“I am thankful for” card

All ages · Write or draw three things — a table-place activity.

How to print

  1. Open the PDF and choose Print → Actual size (100%). Avoid “Fit to page” so the border stays even.
  2. Plain copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils. Use cardstock for markers or paint sticks so ink doesn’t bleed through.
  3. Printing for a class? Print the all-in-one file once, then photocopy the pages you need — black line art copies cleanly.
  4. Turn the off-white “Name” line into a quick handwriting warm-up for younger students.

Ways to use them in November

  • Kids’ table placemats. Print on 11×17 or tape two pages together and add a few crayons per seat — it buys the adults twenty quiet minutes.
  • Gratitude wall. Each child fills in the “I am thankful for” card; pin them up on a hallway board through the week of Thanksgiving.
  • Color-by-pattern practice. Use the turkey’s two feather rows for AB / ABC patterns with preschoolers.
  • Fall vocabulary. Pair the pages with our holiday word cards or food word cards for an ESL lesson: name it, color it, act it out.
  • Calm-down corner. The sunflower and wheat pages have lots of small spaces — good for older kids who need a quiet task.

FAQ

Are these Thanksgiving coloring pages really free?
Yes. Every page is free to print for home, classroom, library and homeschool use. No sign-up and no email. Please don't resell the files or re-upload them as your own.
Letter or A4 — which PDF should I download?
Pick US Letter if you are in the US, Canada or Mexico, and A4 almost everywhere else. Both files have the same 13 designs with margins sized for that paper, so nothing gets cut off.
Why does the line art look blurry or get cut off?
The PDFs are vector, so they stay sharp at any size. If edges are cropped, your printer is scaling the page — choose "Actual size" or 100% instead of "Fit" or "Shrink".
Which pages suit preschoolers?
Start with the pumpkin, apple, acorn and mushroom. They have big closed areas that work with chunky crayons. The sunflower, lattice pie and wheat bundle have small spaces and suit ages 9 and up, or adults.
Can I print them on cardstock?
Yes. Cardstock (65–110 lb / 176–300 gsm) works well for markers and for the thankful card, which many families use as a place card on the table.
Are any cartoon characters included?
No. All designs are original drawings made for PrintPlay — no licensed characters — so they are safe to use in class handouts and newsletters.
